Mpho Manyabe currently holds a BSc Honours Degree in Environmental Management. She has seventeen (17) years of work experience in the field of Environmental Management from different consulting companies.
She was previously nominated to be in the Gauteng Department of Agriculture, Rural Development and the Environment (GDARDE) EIA Environmental Assessment Practitioner (EAP) committee which was launched on 31 March 2015 comprising of EAPs and GDARDE officials to provide quarterly reports to the Executive Authority (Member of the Executive Committee (MEC)) on issues identified as blockages to the improved efficiencies the department seeks to achieve.
She was also a member of the Academic Advisory Committee for the Environmental Science programme in the Department of Environmental, Water and Earth Sciences in the Faculty of Science at the TUT, to serve for a period of three (3) years, where she assisted with preparation and provision of relevant, high quality teaching and learning content for students. She was identified based on her expertise in the field of Environmental Sciences/ Management in order to make a positive contribution to what TUT was offering students in terms of course content and on how to better run programs to the benefit of students.
Mpho is registered with South African Council for Natural Scientific Professions (SACNASP) as a Certificated Natural Scientist and is also a registered EAP with the Environmental Assessment Practitioners Association of South Africa (EAPASA).

RUDZANI MABASO
Office Administrator
Rudzani Mabaso currently holds a National Certificate (N6) in Financial Management obtained from Ekurhuleni West College (EWC). She has extensive experience within the Banking Sector. She has previously worked as a Multi Skilled Consultant at First National Bank (FNB). She has nine (9) years of work experience in Retail Banking and has undertaken various assignments and played compliance roles, inter alia, Sales & Service, Foreign Exchange, Procurement and Administrative roles. She is currently working at MC as an Office Administrator, where she performs clerical duties to ensure the smooth running of the business, while applying various administrative tools within the business.

VINCENT DU PLESSIS
Senior Environmental Scientist
Vincent du Plessis is an accomplished environmental management professional with 17 years of extensive experience across mining, environmental consulting, government, and the United Nations. He currently serves as a Senior Environmental Scientist in the Mining and Development division at Manyabe Consultancy. He holds a Baccalaureus Scientiae Honores (Geography) and Baccalaureus Atrium (Environmental Management).
His career began in the South African mining sector, implementing ISO 14001 standards. He then transitioned into environmental consulting, managing complex environmental authorizations and leading EIAs for high-profile mining and government clients.
Vincent’s public sector experience includes reviewing EIAs and leading stakeholder engagement at a provincial government department. He served as Secretary for both the Gauteng Environmental Assessment Practitioners Forum and the Environmental Assessment Practitioner’s Association of South Africa (EAPASA).
His international experience with various United Nations and its agencies involved leading EMS implementation, mainstreaming EIAs, and initiating sustainability efforts.
With a proven ability to navigate complex regulatory environments and a passion for driving impactful change, Vincent brings a results-oriented approach to promoting sustainable development and environmental compliance on a global scale, making him a valuable asset to Manyabe Consultancy.

ROMEO MPOFU
Environmental Consultant

Romeo Mpofu currently holds a Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Environmental Science and Health from the National University of Science and Technology in Zimbabwe (SAQA evaluated – Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Environmental Health). Romeo is registered with the Environmental Assessment Practitioners Association of South Africa (EAPASA). He is an erudite EAP with an extensive track record in applying the various tools and disciplines of Integrated Environmental Management (IEM), both as a consultant and as an Environmental Control Officer (ECO). He has been actively involved in the preparation of numerous Basic Assessment Reports (BARs) and Environmental Impact Assessment Reports (EIARs) for small- to medium-sized projects within the chemical, construction, infrastructure and manufacturing sectors in South Africa.

FANNY GEZANI MABASA

Fanny Gezani Mabasa currently holds a BSc Honours Degree in Environmental Management from the University of South Africa (UNISA) 2024; a Bachelor of Environmental Science from University of Venda (UNIVEN) 2009 and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education from the University of South Africa (UNISA) 2018. He has twelve (12) years of working experience. Fanny is registered with South African Council for Natural Scientific Professions (SACNASP) as a Candidate Natural Scientist. He has worked as an Environmental Officer (EO) and as an Environmental Control Officer (ECO) in the field of Environmental Compliance and Monitoring. He has vast experience in conducting Environmental Audits (Internal/External). He has been involved in the preparation of Basic Assessment Reports (BARs) and Water Use License Application (WULA) for numerous projects. He has conducted number of Public Participation Process (PPP). He possesses skills of water sampling, noise monitoring, environmental aspects and impacts identification. He has knowledge of Project Management and Environmental Management Systems (EMS) of International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) 14001.
